At OrganiGrow, we have been working with the cannabis plant and making medicine for a little over 2 decades. And now we teach people how they too can make high quality cannabis medicines—tailor made to your specific needs and conditions.

After you register for the course you’ll receive a few emails asking you to block off the time for the practical aspects of the course. For these live sessions you’ll need a little preparation but don’t worry! You’ll get emails ahead of time telling you what you need to do, read, have on hand, or purchase in order to prepare.
Then you’ll get an email with your login information for the platform so you can access all the self-study materials we have for you, like worksheets, videos, and the other handouts. Again, you’ll get information before each of the course’s live sessions as to what you’ll want to review to be as prepared as possible.
These 12 Lessons Will Include:
Lesson One: An Introduction to Cannabis
The foundational lesson of the course will take you through all the basics you need to understand before you start, and a high-level review of the intake methods we’ll cover.
Lesson Two: The Endocannabinoid System and Cannabinoids
An introduction to the major cannabinoids – external and internal to your bodily systems – and how the interactions between them can help (or hinder) healing.
Lesson Three: Terpenes
More than just flavors, these chemical compounds are responsible for many therapeutic effects. In this lesson we’ll cover the main categories of analgesic, anti-anxiety, and anti-inflammatory terpenes, as well as others you may not know about.
Lesson Four: Activating the Medicine

How to make and also determine dosage in canna-butter, as well as the best ways to incorporate it into your favorite recipes.
Lesson Eight: Salve Making
Topical cannabis medicine: what to expect, when to use it, and how to make it. Including a number of different recipes for various conditions.
Lesson Nine: Alcohol Tinctures
The first of our tincture preparation lessons covers multiple methods for alcohol extraction, including folk methods, cold-press, and percolation.
Lesson Ten: Glycerine Tinctures
The tincture instruction continues with the glycerine tincture, which are more suitable for some people or other cases when alcohol may not be tolerated.
Lesson Eleven: Dosage
Calculating the dosage of your medicine is one of the most important steps for safe and effective use. This lesson focuses on the math behind the medicine, and other important tips for effective dosing. Including a number of different dosage protocols ranging from a first time user to someone with a high tolerance.
Lesson Twelve: Experimenting with Formulation/Recipes with Cannabis
Now that you know the science, it’s time to get into the art of cannabis medicine. Get creative with your recipes in this lesson on how to experiment without losing any of the benefits of your homemade products.
In between sessions, in addition to the materials, you’ll have access to our community of other students just like you! You can talk about your successes, motivate each other, and get support when you need it—even between live sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions
The dates for the course are March 20, March 27, April 3, April 10, April 17, and April 24. All times are 7-9pm EST on Zoom.
You will have access to the course recording, and you can send in questions beforehand if you know that you cannot make the live session.
The biggest problem with online information is that you don’t know what is real and what is not. This course provides not only scientifically correct information, but tried-and-true methods for preparation not available anywhere else.
We are open to arranging a payment plan option if that makes it easier for people who cannot afford the full price of the course up front. With that said, if you still cannot afford the price of the course, we will work with individuals on a case to case basis. All that we ask is that you show us proof that you have a medical prescription and we will do our best to work something out.
No! You’ll not only be working with a cohort, but I’ll be there with you to help every step of the way.
Throughout the 6 week course (and beyond), there is a real community that forms between all of the people participating in our online courses. We meet every week online where we can see each other’s faces and share our experiences not only through our stories, but also through photos and videos. Everyone will have a chance each meeting to update the group on what they are experiencing and learning as well as ask questions to the group. The community of medicine makers and the collective experiences of the group is an invaluable asset to all participants.
You are also welcome to use the forum in the members area as well as our special members only group to communicate with fellow students.
The beauty of an online hybrid course is that you can attend from anywhere, as long as you have a working internet connection and the ability to do your coursework.
Unfortunately the laws in your area may make it difficult, or even impossible to participate in the practical aspect of the course. Since we are not lawyers we cannot advise you in this area, other than to urge you to check in with the laws in your area and always act in accordance with them.
